Getting to know your Reeplayer camera

Your Reeplayer camera is unique to your account. That means only you and anyone you invited and made an admin can connect to your camera and control it.

The Reeplayer camera houses a power button, an ethernet port, a USB-C charging port, and a USB-A port. Let’s take a quick dive into each one.

The power button is for turning your camera ON. The common and preferred way to conveniently turn OFF your camera is within the Reeplayer mobile app. See the image below.

The USB-C charging port is for charging your Reeplayer camera. Please use the charging block and cable provided with your Reeplayer camera when charging your Reeplayer camera.

The Ethernet port is for uploading game footage for processing. You will use the Ethernet port and your Ethernet cable provided with your Reeplayer camera to upload game footage. We will look into how to upload footage in this article.

The Reeplayer camera is equipped with an internal microphone. The USB-A port is for plugging in your professional microphone. It is not necessary and it is entirely optional. This feature is not enabled yet. We will notify you when it is.

Please note:

The bold aluminum piece on the back of your Reeplayer camera is your heat sink. It plays a critical role in taking the heat from within your Reeplayer camera and dissipating it. Please treat it carefully on hot days.

Your Reeplayer camera is sealed and can withstand rain when used regularly. You must keep the caps on all buttons when the ports are not in use to prevent moisture and other particles from entering the camera. We do not recommend leaving your Reeplayer camera upside in under the rain.

These are our beta units and improvements will be made with your feedback. We pride ourselves on building Reeplayer with our community and rely on your feedback to make Reeplayer the best camera on the market.
