⚽️ How to start recording your first game

Connect to your Reeplayer camera and start recording 

Only account owners and admins can connect to the Reeplayer camera and start recordings. See the Invite Others section in this article for inviting others and making them an admin. 

Step 1 

Turn ON your camera by pressing the Power button on the bottom of your Reeplayer camera. 

Step 2 

Turn on your WIFI and Bluetooth on your mobile device.

Step 3

Launch the Reeplayer mobile app and go to Menu > Enter Camera. You’ll see your Reeplayer camera on the screen, tap on “TAP TO CONNECT.” You might be asked to join the Reeplayer WIFI network. Tap “Join.”

When the Reeplayer camera and your mobile app successfully connect, you will enter the camera interface (the Camera Control Room). This is where you will see your camera controls. 

Step 4

Tap “Start Recording” to start a recording. You will enter the start recording flow and you will be required to complete several steps before starting to record. These steps are: 

• Check camera placement
• Calibrate your stitched video
• Outline your soccer field
• Start Recording

That’s it! Your Reeplayer camera will automagically record once you tap on the “Start recording” button on the last step.

Things you can do while recording

Stop and save the recording 

Stop a recording by tapping and holding down the red “STOP” button. You will be taken to a screen to save your recording. 

1. Select the Space this recording should be saved to
2. Enter the name of the team you played against
3. Select the outcome of the game
4. Adjust the score of the game
5. Toggle ON the switch if the game was played at home
6. Toggle ON the switch if you want the audio on
7. Toggle ON the switch if you want to publish this game to your fan page on the web

Pause recording 

Pause a recording by tapping the “Pause” button on the screen. You may want to pause a recording during halftime. 

Place bookmarks (live) while recording 

Save bookmarks as things happen during a recording. You will see and edit the bookmarks you created after the game footage is uploaded, processed, and available in your mobile app. Tap the “Bookmark” button next to the stop recording button to go to the Bookmarking screen. Then tap on any bookmark as the action happens in the game.

What do (f) and (a) mean next to each bookmark?

(f) means for and (a) means is against. For example, if your team got a corner kick, tag a bookmark as corner kick (f). If the opponent scored, tag a bookmark as goal (a). That would mean goal scored against your team. 

Disconnect or turn OFF your Reeplayer camera 

You may disconnect or turn OFF your camera when you’re not recording. When you’re on the Camera Controls screen, tap on the ellipses (”Option”) button on the top right and select the option in the drawer below.
